Planning a trip to wright patman lake in east texas for some crappie.Have they started to spawn yet or is the water too cold?

I’m gonna guess too cold, hasn’t warmed up much out that way. If you know where to go in sure there are some shallow in creeks, doesn’t mean they’re spawning though.

Next week should start them. I usually catch them up in the river sloughs closer to April on into April. I don’t fish the lake at all.
