 Anyone fish up river at Buchanan?

I'm up near Colorado Bend State park and am trying to locate the crappie - or big whites. Crappie were near the park 2 weeks ago but now??
Anyone fish up here much?
PB flathead 34.5 lbs - I know it's small but it was still the record for Lake Travis when I caught it!
PB Blue 58.5 lbs jugline 43.5 lbs on R&R which was the other Lake Travis record when caught.

I will be at the state park next week myself. Bringing a canoe but I figure I will do some wading up above the shallows. Would love info in how people target crappie on the river myself.

Fished 3/5. There are lots of big whites still schooled up on the west side of Garrett. So not all of them have moved up into the river.

Many, many moons ago used to fish from (Lemons Camp)now CBSP, and close to the falls on the bluffs would let a jig fall straight down and catch crappie. We were there to catch whites, but hey the crappie were a big bonus.

Doesent look like its too far of a drive from where you live. I would be down there everyday checking if I lived that close.
