This time of year do you need to go up the creeks or can you still catch them on the lake. Points dam etc thx

Dont waste your time in the creeks right now. I am hitting the creeks 2-3 times a week right now and there is not enough fish in there to mess with right now. I caught some big ones today in a creek but a huge majority of the fish are still in the main lake and I dont expect that to change much until we get some really good run off type rain. Until that happens you are better off at the lake. 90% of the people I am seeing in the creeks aint even catching a single fish.

If the water and water shed do not receive a significant amount of rain and soon. The spawn will take place in the lake.
