If you’re having to tow to get to the lake versus living on the lake your expenses are going to put a dent in the wallet

Most will have to stay close to home, unless you're really desperate to get bites and have to travel any distance to power plant lakes and easy lakes like Athens to get a few.

My only impact will be fishing closer to home.

I think biggest impact will be the tournament trails. Guys will back off tournaments before they cut back on fishing in my opinion.

I think $10 might see some of the guys with older rigs cutting back, but if you have $90k in a boat and $60k in the truck, I don't think the price of gas will slow many up. What WILL slow them up is no gas, or gas rationing. There are people in the world who would absolutely love for that to happen, and there are many in power right here in our own country.

All i can say is if your wallet can afford it go for it. But for most of us we will cut back as much as possible.
With inflation soaring now gas and diesel going up it’s gonna get tight for a lot of people.

If you have $120K+ in a boat and truck there is minimal effect on fuel prices.

We go to Venice LA for a week in late May. It’s been a tradition for the last 7 years. I burn about 150 gallons of gas or more that week. With the price going up and Venice Marina being about $1 a gallon higher that could be $1,000 of gas by then. Plus 10 mpg pulling the boat back and forth is another 75 gallons. $1,500 total gas bill.

No way Joe Biden keeps us from hammering the trout.

We might run around a little less. Most likely it’s FJB and hammer down......lol.

It’s not the boat gas for me, it’s the truck gas going to lakes 2 hours away that will slow down. $100 a tank a diesel now and rising
bang

Thanks Brandon

Put in 25 gallons yesterday at the cost of $100. Add in the truck gas at $80 that is getting tough to dish out. Plus my boat hold 55 gallons so if I went from empty to full at $4 a gallon which will happen within a week that is $220 plus the $80 for the truck…..grand total of $300 to just put the boat on the water for a tournament. Then add in the tournament fee of $150, I’m down $450 without throwing a lure.
Needless to say, my pre-fishing will be cut out and I will “try” to limit running my 250 to a minimum.

All brought to you by Dirt Bag Joe Biden.
