I am modifying a bass fly I developed that functions like a jig. What hook size would you recommend for a double digit bass? I plan to use a j-hook from 3/0 to 9/0 in size and will fish the fly in 1 to 25 feet of water. Thanks for your opinions.

5/0-6/0 would be what I use
