I have a 2200 nauticstar . Looking at the 57 inch shaft but afraid it might not be long enough . Appreciate any info y’all might have ! Thank you!

I have a NauticStar 231 Hybrid. It sits higher than a regular NS. I have a 72” Ultrex on mine.

72" shaft if you plan to fish in 20+ mph wind. The auto deploy ones the collar takes up 10 inches so it's like a 62" drop. If you fish calmer days the 60" shaft will do. They fixed alot of the bugs in the auto deploy TM now so get that if you can afford one. I love my auto deploy 72", fav gadget on my boat.

I have a Nautic Star XTS24. Get the longer shaft, you will be happier and you can always raise the shaft up to shorten it but you can’t make the shorter shaft longer. That is why I went with the longer shaft when I changed out my trolling motor a few years ago.

I have a 1900 with a 57” force and it works fine. I have the collar up about 8” from its lowest point and the head stays well below the water line.

I have a 2110 sport by Nautic Star and have the Ulterra self deploy and stow 60 inch shaft . Works great , regular maintenance is critical . You tube has several tutorials for same. A word of caution purchase the best batteries as this troller uses power . AGM over gel and core.

I have a 2200 Naticstar also. I got the 60" Minnkota Ultera and it is just enough to handle most days. I have the 24v and it has been great on power so far after 3+ years. Go longer if you are going to out in rough water a lot.
