Kyle Hall was fishing by himself and caught and netted that fish solo. I saw the fish in the livewell and the text when he landed it. He has been chasing a sal a while. A matter of fact him and I had a bet. If he caught a sal before March 8 I would do 50 push ups. If he caught a 15+ I had to do 10 sit ups every time I see him for the next month. He went o and won the bet. I’m pumped for him. What's his side of the bet. You caught a 16lber.

I guess at this point it's easy to assume when one is caught, it's likely Josh. To my knowledge over 20 have been caught out of Ivie this year and last year combined. Jones has 4 of them and a couple other guys have 2 a piece. What you have to put in perspective is how much time these guys are out there. Almost 3 months straight all day every day. The kicker is 16 other guys showed up and caught 13+ fish as well. Which shows you he’s not the all mighty of scope fishing. He’s just doing it a lot more than others are able too. I think it’s awesome what Ivie has spit out. But I truly fear the lake is going to be shot in a year or two. But I hope not for the guys out there. A friend of mine from Brownwood caught one of the SALs last year, without live sonar. Although not from the same boat, one of his friends caught one as well. So there’s at least two from last year caught without LS.

Remember the enormous following Josh has on social media. These guys gladly share views and exposure for YouTube. So when he announced 16lber Kyle Hall Fishing, it diverted thousands of people to Kyle's social media and vice versa

IMO, the 16 from EM is way more impressive than the 16 from ivie! Congrats to both guys!

Wanted to state that so people don’t jump me for being a hater, but his original post made no mention of Kyle Hall. Just said 16lber alert. Going live.

He’s there for these weigh ins because the guys who caught the fish reached out to him. Can’t blame them. Fishermen helping fishermen, it’s a beautiful thing.
