Every Dickies I've ever eaten at was very lame. Stopped at the one in Cleburne one time and it was surprisingly very good. Not every store is created equal apparently. There was one on Bridge St. in east Ft. Worth that was the worst I'd ever had. So bad, it closed up. I just looked them up, they started in Dallas in 1941, they explains why there are so many in the area, I bet at one time they were very good, but franchised out and food went to chit, would be my guess. The original location was on Central Expy, at the Knox/Henderson exit and it was very good many years ago. When they started franchises and opening stores like crazy, the quality in all of them (including the first one) just steadily went downhill. I managed a store on the corner of Central and Mockingbird for several years back in the mid-70s and I ate lunch at the original spot about twice a week.

has the but cut off ribs . My sister works in corporate and sends me rubs , racks of ribs , sausages and chicken in a box on dry ice really great meat ,

is possibly one of the worst BBQ in Texas! They sure do have a lot of locations and sell a lot of BBq to be as bad as everyone says they are.
