I use YoZuri Hybrid line- co-polymer/floro blend. I used to be PLine guy but got away from it when it started to get brittle after a trip or two. The hybrid fishes smooth like mono, is abrasion resistant and invisible like floro. I use YoZuri Top Knot for my floro applications and it's money. For all other mono applications I used Big Game- tried and tested.

CX premium. Love the stuff. Supple but strong. CXX is just too wirey for me. I'm also a big fan of P-Line CX Premium. It's an easy casting, low backlash line, but the drawback is you have a little stretch. For moving baits it can be a plus, but you lose a little power that fluoro or braid give you on hookset. Not that this is what you are asking, but I've stuck with the same 3 lines for a long time. I use these lines for fresh and saltwater fishing. 1. P-Line CX Premium 2. Seaguar InvizX 3. Sufix 832
The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach

I use Mean Green for almost all of my non fluoro rigs....stuff is strong as hell! Have to use the trolling motor to break off sometimes.

The most expensive fluorocarbon out there. The O/P said NO fluorocarbon line.

Thanks to all who contributed their opinions on the best line(s) information that I needed. I have plenty of lines to consider.

CX premium is smooth and casts well, but I feel it lacks durability. The line frays quickly. I respool more often than I’d like.
CXX is stronger, much thicker, still casts well, but becomes a huge rubber band over time. The stretch is very noticeable, especially on longer casts and hooksets.
YoZuri is somewhere in the middle. It has good castability, durability, and abrasion resistance, while having a fair amount of stretch. It’s not perfect but it’s acceptable.
