Lost our club president of over 30 years and my grandfather this past Nov. So the club is putting on an open as a memorial to him and a way help grow the club.
4-2-22
Bridgeport
Wise County
7-3pm (must be in line by 3pm) registration from 6-645a
5 fish all state laws apply- 1lb dead fish penalty 1lb short fish penalty
$100 team tournament (can fish solo) with optional $20 big bass- 80% payback
1-9 boats 2places 70-30
10-19 Boats pay out 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. (50%, 30%, 20%)
20-29 Boats pays out 1st - 4th. (40%, 30%, 20%, 10%)
30 + Boats pays 1st - 5th. (35%, 25%, 20%, 15%, 5%)
All winners subject to a polygraph

All state laws will apply. Sure hope the bite is better than needing spots under 14in to get a check though!! LOL

looks like you have a typo in your 30+ boats payout. Maybe it should be 30,25,20,15.10.

Not sure how many people that have viewed this post will actually come out and fish, but do you think the gas prices will stop anyone? I sure hope not, I'm really looking forward to meeting new anglers and promoting the bass club.

If the winning team is non club members, they will also receive free membership for the rest of the year! Also, anyone fishing wanting to join the club can do so after the tournament and begin qualifying for the top 10 fish off with at least $1500 in total prize money. ($20 membership fee) . The more participation we can get the higher the payout can become. Hope to see Ya there!

UPDATE!!!
We will fish 7a-3p, last cast 3pm. Must be in weigh in line by 330pm. This will help with traffic at the park and not having many places to pull the boat up due to the low water. Anyone fishing after 3pm will be DQ'd. All winners will be subjected to a polygraph

We will be taking entry fees at the first table under the tree and giving out boat numbers. Weigh in will also be there unless space is taken.
