This is a little off topic, but I was looking at a depth map for canyon lake today and saw what I guess you could call a line of divots along what I think are the main river channel. I have attached images does anyone know what these are?

They’re what I’d call washout holes. You can see some more in the river, below the dam, when the river is super low.

not sure what maps your using, but the divots dont show up on the fee navionics chart viewer maps

I have been using https://usa.fishermap.org/depth-map/lake-whitney/

It looks pretty accurate on Whitney, but I will definitely be using the free navionics from now on because I just couldn't believe how those divots looked canyon lake.
