He didn't catch it but he 100 percent is responsible. He took that guy on several trips in the past year. Single handedly changing the game. Rare a single person has done that in fishing Yes the guy that got the 17 was giving JJ huge props as he weighed her. I hope they catch a 20 freaking pounder out there! Texas needs to eclipse that mark!! Amen, brutha Ken!!!

What’s the big deal. Those local ivie hammers been been catching and releasing those every week for the last 20 years while single handedly keeping the region afloat financially...just ask them. Haha LMFAO!!!!!!

Great catch but am I the only one wondering why Josh Jones is the star of the show...what exactly did he do to take any credit for that catch? The guy has been on trips with Josh before plus without Josh, most likely the guy and many others would have never went to Ivie

Guy was in his own boat and not with Josh. Josh just came to the weigh-in.
Josh then tried to say they were using Lowrance, but the angler that caught it said it was using LiveScope and it would be hard for him to get away from it. You guys are unreal he was joking about using Lowrance!!!

Does anyone know the details , lure , depth , structure etc........ Umbrella rig with a 6th Sense Devine 3.8 swimbait is what he said in the video. Great catch but am I the only one wondering why Josh Jones is the star of the show...what exactly did he do to take any credit for that catch? I didn't take it that way, I thought Josh was simply trying to get the guy some pub and broadcast this huge moment knowing his huge following would want to know about it.
