Judging from those fingernails or lack there of I think your hopes would be dashed  . So don’t make it 31  . You know what I’m saying. Why couldn’t the maker of that gif use Heather Locklear and Christie Brinkley, heck anyone over the age of 17. I feel like an old prev when I see that picture. My wife is 26 years younger than me and that picture makes me feel like a perv. And yet I posted it anyways

I must talk to myself a lot more than the normal human being, guy didn’t say a word until the very end. I would have been saying all kinds of prayers and curse words when I saw it jump. Same here  The only word he was a curse word  . I liked the little jab in the title of the clip to .

Lol! Since this is your thread, I’ll hijack it for a minute. Did you see that 13+ that was caught at Amistad in a kayak tournament? Thing was huge bellied, it’s on some of the Del Rio FB pages. I did see that, thing was a beast. was it on an A-Rig? If it was they wont count it....well IFGA wont from my understanding. That kid Brandon Burkes (him and his dad caught SALs last year iirc) posted something that Elm Creek shared about his world record not counting because it was caught on an A Rig and the multiple hooks are against their rules. Nobody will ever catch a world record again on an a-rig That’s because IGFA rules only allow for a single hook. So wait...if I catch a potential WR on a crankbait or jerkbait it won't count?

Awesome fish for sure. I’ve been going out to Ivie since 2010, usually just once or twice per year. I can remember the lake having smallmouth, though I never caught many and they were always under 3 pounds. These mean mouth seem to be a new phenomenon out there. Any theories on why these fish seem to be appearing in the last couple of years? Maybe something to do with the lake being so low for a few years with not much cover, and the two species using the same spawning areas?

I think it is the multiple bait concept, not the multiple hook (that IS NOT a fact it is just my interpretation). Maybe someone else could clarify.
