Chased crappie as they move to spawning areas on various East Texas fisheries. I wished ours out on the west side were ready. I'm still seeing them stacked in 40'-50' of water offshore. Eggs are there, but not developed fully yet. Not bloody and still stuck together. 48-50 degree water.

So I am wondering ,, Is the movement due to water temp or increased length of day ?

Water temp has been fairly consistent. Definitely not going up except for maybe today and tmrw. Whatever increase there is will be wiped out by the 4 days after.
