Gonna be a short post. We got our tails whooped by Twok Friday and Saturday during the Catmasters classic. Caught 1 dink cat in 2 days. But...I'm not pessimistic. I'm happy to say had we been in a Bowfin tournament, we would have most likely done quite well...lol. Congrats to the winners and those who placed if any are reading. That lake was not nice to a lot of folks this past weekend.

I just couldn't let that whooping we took get me down though, so I fished again yesterday solo. 2 short drifts, 8 fish up to a 30lb class.

Al is always a force on that lake. Well any lake, but especially that one.

Dang TRH did y’all get a quad hook up on those bowfin or were y’all keeping them for some reason? We caught a couple out on Twok last year around this time

lol, nah, they were all in about 30 minutes or so. We hooked a 5th, but it got off. That's when we pulled out of that spot. We actually kept them to see how the Gar might like 'em in a few.

Never even seen a bowfin before!

Reading this forum and asking around, there were a lot of skunked boats this past weekend. I bet your 'new' boat is getting some attention.

Sorry to hear it was a tough day for y’all Trent, I’ve seen you do very well on that lake many, many times before.

And I know it wasn’t a good time for them. But those bowfin are cool, I’ve never got one—-yet.
