Water is still blue green with weeds trying to form a line.
Baker/Southern/Hospital have been producing small snaps.
That's what I am hearing from friends and other fishermen.

They took the big southern rig down last summer. You will need GPS #'s to find it. We fished the tender markers around the rig while they were dismantling it and got some dolphin and wahoo trolling. The big salt dome close to it had no fish probably because of the underwater explosions as they dismantled the rig.

It did not seem like they were hauling stuff away when they took it down last year. We just saw these huge upsurge of water and a mini tidal wave comming from the rig. All the workers were on the highest platform observing. Two weeks later we were back and there was no sign of this huge rig. If they left the stuff on the bottom it should be great for all kind of fish.

Fish the rocks of Southern if bottom fishing. It's easy to get hung up on the old sunken rig.
