Can I make a suggestion for you?

If you didn't know that slot fish were illegal to bring to weigh in you also may not know how to properly measure a fish. It is important you use the same measuring board that BC uses. There is a slight difference between boards. BC uses a Pro-Rule.

Do not use a tape measure going up and over the fish's body. I see this at every major event. If you do it that way it will make your fish measure longer than it will lying flat on a board. If you're gonna fish the tournament spend the extra $30 bucks so you'll save embarrassment and a ticket from the GW.
