Went to take the boat on its first voyage. Started up and let it warm up good. Suddenly started shaking like crazy and shut off. Then isnstruggled to start. When it did start it would idle for about 10 seconds then shake and shut off again. What the heck!?!?!?

Something isn't right, take it back to the dealer.

Used ethanol for 20 years on 2 strokes, never an issue.

Did you pull the cowling off and make sure the belt wasn’t getting stuck, could be a bad pulley or something. (Doubtful but maybe)

It's a brand new boat. Take it back to dealer and chew some tail. They should have done a full checkout of boat and then done another one with you. Problem should have been found before hand

Hope it’s a quick fix

Spark plugs gapped and seated properly?
Gas tank vented correctly?

Sounds like some of you never bought a new boat before. Sure take it to the dealer but no need to chew on them.

I once got a new boat with the steering reversed. That was an interesting first trip on the water. It was a little crazy steering the opposite of normal to get it back on the trailer.

The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach
