Burn Co. on Boston Ave burned down last night. It's considered one of the best in the city and interestingly cook everything on Hasty Bake ovens (also a Tulsa business). It seems to me that it's a rite of passage for a BBQ place to burn. The good news is the Jenks location is still open.

Damn, I know Adam Myers one of the owners. I was selling Hasty Bake stuff when he left them to go start it. Hate it for him. He’s a good.

Smoke on!

My own personal opinion in why so many BBQ places burn down is they are always cooking even during the night and when one of their smokers starts a fire no one calls until the building is well involved as most people in the area are used to seeing smoke come out of the building.

Hopefully they have sufficient insurance and can reopen soon - outstanding BBQ. My daughter and son-in-law were college buddies with one of their managers and he always treated us very generously when we visited.

Place is always packed and they sell out often. Best Mac and cheese you can get IMO

Sad to hear any time a BBQ joint burns down.
