BASS shows current tournaments and coverage from that lake. Not much repeat.
MLF is honestly all repeat shows. And honestly, its confusing whats on where. I dont really care who leads who. It boils down to whos paying more for air time. I just watch whatever.

MLF has 50+ times as much TV air time as BASS which includes an enormous amount of re-runs. Does that really garner a press release bragging about having 67% of the fishing viewership? This press release is pretty laughable. Jim Wilburn's ego is quite remarkable.

I am surprised the CBS re-run show in December beat the live Classic ratings on FOX in June. That just shows you most of the eyeballs aren't followers of the sport.

One thing I wish MLF would do is put a small text line on the screen with event and lake in bottom corner of screen. Its hard to know event sometimes as it rarely matches the guide on the TV.

I am betting sponsorship $$ for the tour and the pros is 100% of the reason for the press release- not chest thumping or any other reason. And imho, live or reruns makes no difference to me as I just like watching the action. Unless you are on the same lake and spot as the pro on the same day, you aren't going to replicate their success anyway. Good on them for their success in ratings. And good on BASS for their success with drawing crowds at weigh ins and expos at their events.

I think that was last season's boat it being a Ranger and he had Nitro on his jersey, probably didn't get his new boat yet
