Lifelong dream of catching the state fish of Texas came true. Not too big - but scrappy fighter, and fun on ultralight tackle! Caught at McKinney Falls State Park.

zooey: Between now and August, TPWD has a Tagged Guadalupe Bass contest going in the Lower Colorado, east of Austin. Catch a tagged one, document it, and it qualifies you for their grand prize drawing. TPWD's website has the particulars. Catch 'em up!
