 2003 3.0 mercury efi feul problem

My merc efi doesnt want to idle the bulb looses pressure and it dies.if I get on pad before it dies it'll run.i know it's gotta be something stupid but I ain't got the time

When was the last time you replaced the fuel lines? Replaced the primer bulb? Had the low pressure pump rebuilt?

 Braddont know anyone [mech] in ellis.i would do what Gamblinman said, good place to start. Also believe it has 2 fuel filters. Should n't take long. Also saw this , on TFF . www.boats.net/ catalog/ mercury . Merc parts Hope this helps, gotta get the thump on!!!

Put. New vst pump in last summer and rebuilt pulse pump with cheap diaphragm kit.im gunna try it with a good one this weekend then im done trying lol.it runs like a beast when it gets up
