David.....what would be the 12" unit to set up front on my boat just for livescope?? Don't need another ducer, no sidescan, no 2D sonar. Just scope! 1242...126....1222...1243...etc. ??????

I'm not David but the GPS Map1222 if you want a turn dial or the 122 Ultra if you want touchscreen! Personal preference there.

I love the 1022/1222 setup. i think the 122 ultra has a few more pixels but it has a higher price tag too. the 122 has a quick disconnect cradle which is a little more convenient for taking your graph off but not a deal killer for the 1222.
