Anybody got this set up?
Had the 1198 for a while and friend gave me a 360 he got 5 or 6 years ago.
Cable from 360 and the 1198 have male fittings.
Hopefully Russells has me fixed up but would like to see what some others may be using to connect the 2.

The original 360 comes with a 20' Ethernet cable (AS EC 20E), a 6' power cable, and a AS GPS HS antenna. You have to use an Ethernet cable between the 360's Ethernet cord and a display, there is no other way. I used the 2' version, but that is not available anymore, 5' is the shortest now--AS EC 5E. I used a 1198 and bow 360 up until I got an ONIX, then replaced that with a Helix when those came out. I have the 1199 basically the same unit. I still use it for side imaging and down imaging.
The 360 would really help you with staging and bedding fish, not sure how deep it will be useful.
I catch plenty of crappie so I never upgraded.

Did your friend not give you an ethernet cable? So... even though the unit is close enough I still need to use the extra cable? I never looked at it.
