I think I've axed this before, but I am REALLY wanting to go float the White River this Spring. Something like April. There should be about 4 of us.

Will need to hire a guide one day for my wife and a buddy so that they can learn. I have been, YEARS ago, but I think I can do okay without the guide.

Years ago we used Rose's Boat Dock. Any reports about lodging etc.? Better Places?

Can I also fish from the bank/dock at camps?

Tell me 'Bout your trips.

I'm glad there are wine drinkers in this world ..... it saves more beer for the rest of us.

The house is right on the river. Be careful when they open the gates to generate electric. The river comes up real fast.

We used to go to the white, but got tired of the small rainbows. We now stay on the North Fork River below the Lake Norfork dam. The brown trout fishing can be great and the size is unbelievable.

Gene's is fine. You can rent a boat with motor if desired or wading access right below the dam is just a mile away. There is also a very good restaurant near there called Whispering Woods that is owned by a couple that used to do catering on the PGA tour.
