I tried it one time at one of the stars' centers about 10 years ago. It's much harder to do than it looks.

I would like to try it. I am sure if I did I would land right on my arse, just like I did roller skating many, many years ago. Never tried skating again. Could stand, but every time I tried to roll I ended up looking at the ceiling

I tried in Wisconsin years ago. A lot of the local bars have teams. Beer fuels the curling machine.

One of the chicks on team USA was hot. It kept me watching for about 2:32 longer than normal.

I curled for almost 40 years. One of the venue's we curled at was Bemidji, where Cassie Johnson was from. I've met the women's and men's teams there.

Chess on ice is right and these folks are at another level. Sliding a stone past another one with less than a 1/2 inch takes unbelievable skill. I enjoyed it and my team did ok for our Novice classification.

Most curling clubs are set up as a bottle club liqour license. You bring your own bottle that stays behind the bar and buy your setups. And they typically sell beer. Fun times...

We do shuffle board in bars in Texas. Hahah. Screw the cold weather and hot beer.
