Well, seeing how many of us are holed up with the white caca outside, I thought I would post up some links on YouTube channels that are either very informative and or entertaining.

First up, Catfish Dave. Quite the character and highly entertaining. His videos first got me interested in cat'n. He mainlly fishes rivers, from the bank and from his small boat.



Next up Kayak Catfish. Justin is a cool dude, and catches a ton of big cat's from his kayak.



Catfish and Carp, this guy does really well and tries all sorts of methods.



Steve Douglas, aka The Catfish Dude.



Lastly our very own El Gato Azul. Chris has a great channel.

Catfish Dave is not very highly regarded in the Catfish Community I’m a part of. He’s been unfriendly to quite a few of the YouTubers I know. I don’t watch him as I’m not a fan of negative vibes but I constantly hear people telling me he’s not a nice person.

I do like Justin with Kayak Catfish and Steve Douglas and they are very friendly guys and we’ll respected by all. Steve just subbed to my channel which I think is cool!

Luke with Catfish and Carp is a nice guy as well and also well respected.

My favorite is Epic Catfish. Tim Scott has probably caught more fish over 100 lbs than anyone else in the entire country. He is not only well respected but one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. I’ve been watching him for years and now I’m proud to call him my friend! If you subscribe to his channel then send him a comment and tell him El Gato Azul sent you!

Another great channel is Palmetto Cats. Kevin is well respected and does alot for the Catfishing community. If you subscribe to him make sure you leave a comment and tell him El Gato Azul sent ya!!

I am not a fan of Dave. Seems like he has a chip on his shoulder.

Another one I just started watching is Whisker Pig Fishing. He seems super nice and is a hick, so I can relate. Haha

I'm surprised someone hasn't boat ramped Catfish Dave. I tend to follow the smaller YouTubers, Chatt Cats is good. There is a new one, Catfish Combat that fishes the same stretch of Tennessee River I do. I've accused him of stealing my waypoints more than once! Last but definitely not least is Richard Gene. He is a "any fish that bites" person, but he has some excellent how to videos, including catfish.

I used to watch Catfish Dave. I thought the grumpy guy was just his shtick. I'm not so sure based on what I've heard. My go to list is below:

Luke Nichols Catfish and Carp. I learned my cast net technique from him.
Justin Johnson aka Kayak Catfish. My daughter says his laugh is like that of a serial killer. I think he is entertaining and talented.

Well, I certainly wasn't aware of that, and obviously disappointed to hear.

I was like Tim, thought his grumpy way was just his thang. Seeing him pull in some monster 'dang fish with stripes' and pi**ing and moaning about them is hilarious.

There are some other excellent channels being posted up. More fuel for my addiction!

Big fan of the ones mentioned so far, I subscribe to nearly all of them. Another good one is Catfish Karma. Quinton seems like a good guy. He has a good mix of product reviews, diy builds, boat walkthroughs, and fishing trips. After I get my new boat in a few weeks, I may have to try getting a channel going. Just for fun.



Catfish Edge is another one, and after meeting Chad, and hanging out with him, he's a super nice guy......and almost as sarcastic (in a good way) as me. LOL

River Certified. in my opinion is the best channel out there. Spencer is a great fisherman.
