You have the option to stay home

Cancelled tomorrow. Glad to see they had some sense.

Lots of upset people with the delay to 10AM and then again with the cancellation. You can't make everyone happy, but it seems like cancelling the day was the more fair option than late start giving half the teams hours more of fishing time.

Not gonna lie, pretty glad we aren't fishing today. We had a small limit but lost some good ones, broke off, blah blah blah. Same ol excuses and we didn't make weigh in with battery issues. That being said, one of the colder more miserable days on the water. Low 40's heavy rain and high winds.

Why would half the teams get "hours more of fishing time with a late start"? Honest question as I thought they were trailering.

As I understand they were going to leave the same flighted weigh in times as they were so some teams would have
had to weigh in earlier than others

Tough call, but probably the right decision. Sucks for the guy's with probably less than 15 lbs. but it is what it is. Hopefully one of the lower weight teams catches a big'en and wins a boat.

Okie by birth, Texan by choice.

Boy, over 25 lbs leading it and a few bags over 20 lbs is impressive under those brutal conditions!
