1k a day I’m sure he will be there long enough for lots of people to net his fish That’s the crazy part. For 1000 dollars a day you better be teaching me the entire time and not touching a rod. I know how to cast. I know how to reel you can coach me through the rest. BBBMC, he went to $1,250/day Jan 1st. A couple of my buddies fished with him about 3 weeks ago. He told them at breakfast he was not really a guide. He said, "People pay me to go fishing with me and learn how my technique" He told them he would let them throw first at the fish he spotted but he was going to try to catch the fish. You know how it goes when you are target fishing. The guy running the TM usually catches the fish. You have got to be kidding. Did they learn anything about targeting big bass?

What keeps people from following him around and casting at the fish he locates? It's hard to keep the fish you find in the scope for very long. Most of the giants are constantly on the move. Realistically you get one shot. The fish bites or it doesn't. On the second cast (if you get one) the odds go down 95%. Guys could follow him around all they want, the fish he finds are transient. It's not like there is a big pile of them that doesn't move. You'd probably not see what he sees and even if you did you'd be casting at a fish he already casted at. One point of clarity, these giants are always on the move, but I don't think they move far, said differently, I think they have a fairly small home range.

I'd pay $1250 just to be in the boat when a 15 was caught.......NOT! If he casted over me I'd whoop that long haired hippy's azz.....

His latest rant on Fb about tpwd game wardens is very ironic. He’s mad he got a ticket but wouldn’t even admit it when called out. He’s literally pissed about the very people he talks so highly about that created the fishery. He responded a few times to me but wouldn’t even admit about the ticket after all of his followers glorified his game warden rant. He even went to say one gw was pissed because he prob ruined the gws fishing spot. I wish the guy the best but bashing Gamewarden’s doesn’t look very good for him on a professional note. I think if he keeps it up his career will be short lived.

His rant may or may not be justified but I say this from a county that has one bad egg that has been here for a long time.

I got a kick out of him saying he and miliken provided opportunities for so many local families and boosted the economy. That is funny. Because I do not remember any of those fools out here when the lake was low and the stores were struggling. It was those of us that lived out here buying rooms and hamburgers to help them stay in business. Now he wants to act like some savior to the people around Ivie. Ivie has always been a big fish factory, before these fools, and after.

Heck of a fish. Is he just wintering at Ivie this year? Seems like he has been spending a lot of time there, just curious. I read where he planned to spend 2 or 3 more weeks there. However, he also posted where his 9 year old Lab and fishing partner crossed the rainbow bridge unexpectedly. I don't know about everybody else, but when my 14 year old Lab leaves this world, fishing is going to be the last thing on my mind for a while. Actually fishing will be tied for last with most everything else ....always happens when you lose the only living creature on this earth that truly loved you unconditionally and without fail no matter what kind of day, week, month...whatever you were having

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip! #Brockstarama

You can’t deny that a TON more money has been dumped into the area that otherwise would not have been. So in a way they have been responsible. I’m not saying that it’s anything less than extreme arrogance to run around boasting about it, but it’s the truth. I have to say though, the guy knows how to keep his haters triggered and keep his name in peoples mouths whether he’s catching giants or not.

I am not trying to start anything just looking for answers. Is this guy for sure using live scope. Does he use live bait? I just can’t understand how one person if they are using artificial bait and just a normal depth finder could possibly do this. Am I wrong. Is this guy just that good?

I find it funny (and sad) how if you bring attention to Ivie, that in turn brings business to this lake, you are exploiting their lake and you are a YouTube douche. If you don’t come to ivie and bring attention then you are a loser, and the locals are forced to carry the weight of all the local businesses unfairly and solely on their shoulders, to make sure they survive. Haha, pick a single main complaint and try to stay with it. By the way, a lot of these guys were too young to drive while you were keeping the entire Ivie community afloat by yourself, not just jumping on the bandwagon as of recent.
