Headed out about 8:30am on Saturday and fished until about 3pm. It was an Epic day. We lost count of how many we caught and released but our estimation was approx 40 Hybrids. We caught more Hybrids than Sandies! Our biggest was 26 1/2 inches that weighed 9.5lbs. We also caught one that was 25 1/2 and several between 21-23 inches. We had 2 times when we had triples on and 3 other times we had doubles on. It was chaos at times! We were Thumping with my BOBO Thumper and deadsticking Berkely Live flukes with 1/2 ounce jig heads and some tandem rigs by RSR Lures. Water Temps were 49 degrees. One of my best days on CCL in 6 years. Really healthy fish and all of them were released for another day!

So do you deadstick under your thumper for hybrids like one would do for striper?

More than likely he was. But thumping works while using most presentations for stripers hybrids and sandbass. As well as for catfish lmb and many times crappie.
