Price point $150.00…. I busted my Kistler Sunday and I’m outside the 5 year warranty window, I’m taking suggestions for a new one. I primarily use 3/8 and 1/2 ounce Jack Hammers

I love my 7'0. Falcon Lowrider, MH, Mod-Fast
Used to use a MH Fast. Had a lot of missed fish. Catch to bite ratio went way up when i switched to Mod Fast tip. Also throwing them on 20 lb fluoro.

To me it depends on how fish them, in open water a 7 foot rod or longer is fine. I like a 6-6 most of the time but when I tight lining into close cover I’ll go down to a 6 foot. Both of these are med heavy oooold castaways with a parabolic bend, and a 6.3 to 1 reel.

It's little more above your the price you stated but I really like Dobyns sierra 734C for chatters. The Dobyns fury 734c is $129 and and does a good job as well.

This one right here is what I use and it has been great at a nice price point. Loads up extremely well with a nice bend to it. Also works very well for mid size cranks up to 6xd.

I have just changed this year to a Cashion iWJ69MHF and I am absolutely loving it! Their "Chatterbait" rod is money too for making longer casts. I pair mine with a REVO 7.1:1. It is a little above the price point you listed above but is well worth spending the extra cash. Made in the USA and has a lifetime warranty. What else can you ask for? Heck, if you don't like it, Ill buy it from you. Check them out at cashionrods.com
