They won't postpone but I wish they would so I would have a shot to fish it. Would be cool if it was late summer but I hope they have a huge turnout and get to do it again next year

Would be cool if it was late summer Like you said they won’t postpone it and it definitely wouldn’t be in midsummer if they did. Brandon will be playing for the SF Giants and he is very involved in the tournament. Can’t see it being postponed any later either because of Spring training coming up soon as well. Should be interesting though… I’m sure he will be able to save the $25k that he promised for the biggest bag over 40lbs, at least this year.

Have a friend that's fishing it and he asked and was told they are definitely not postponing it. Safe travels to all who are going!

Glad to see hosting a fishing tourney is more important than the safety of everyone that's going to be traveling and fishing in this nasty weather coming through Thursday morning...

WeatherUnderground has it being well above freezing Thursday down there. Conditions won't be fun to fish in, but like it's been said you don't have to fish it. I'm sure it's just too hard to move a tournament like that.

The wind is more of a concern for me. Its gonna pack everyone in, and dang that will make it cold.

After the tourney that just ended Sunday, the weather, and that many boats in protected/semi protected spots, I'd be shocked if it took more than12#/day to qualify for Saturday top twenty- if that much. If, and it's a big IF, the weather forecast is accurate.
