 Texoma Sunday 1/24 Deadstick me a Whopper!

Fished from 11 to 330pm with a retired soldier friend. This was my best DS day in two years. Good fish followed under the boat for 3 full hours in mostly 60 fow with fish suspended 45ft and below. We caught a total of 40 fish and around 40 cussing misses (LOL) and left them biting. Five fish were overs with the biggest a 7 lb and the last fish boated.... BAM a happy New Year 2022 WHOPPER at 14.5 lbs which is my new PB for Texoma. Woot woot! My previous Texoma best was 14 lb, twice, one in winter 2014 (sassy) and one in winter 2018 (ARig). This new PB inhaled my pink fluke and major drag peeler! Water temp was 46 to 48f. Wind W 5-8 mph. Blue bird skies. Very nice and good to know PB brother Steve  Thanks guys! It was a blast. There were 4 adults and a k9 "Roxie" at the scene cheering me on. Thought I caught a fresh water bull red. Lol. I CPR'ed her so she can enjoy the rest of her golden years and in return gives us some good offsprings for future ketchin'. Also, sustainability is such a beautiful, wholesome word cuz its a win-win outcome
