I am ordering a new boat and strongly considering trying out Raptors. I would like some feedback from folks that actually have Raptors. Need to hear the positives and negatives. Any disadvantages vs. Blades?

I have had a set of 8' Raptors with active anchoring for about 6 months now, I previously had talons. I couldn't be happier with my raptors.

They seem to be quieter than power pole, I have been next to a boat with poles and it is noticeably louder when we both deployed them.

My only complaint is the stomp switches suck. I haven't had a chance to really test the AA part but its a cool idea. lol

I have had them since October of 2020 only complaint is keeping the software up-dated & the blue tooth connection gets lost from time to time.
Things are much easier when you run a wire to it

Are you able to hardwire any of the controls or are they all bluetooth?

I've had Raptors since Oct 2021. All controls, for me, are Bluetooth. I prefer the PP buttons that attach anywhere over the Raptor buttons. They Raptor controllers are much larger and I have not found a good place to mount them yet. I currently keep it in my cup holder, which is not ideal.

They are much quieter than sportsman 2s and are very easy to pair.

Overall, very happy with them so far.

I've had mine since March 2021, absolutely love them. I had poles prior....the raptors are quieter and are more robust....you won't be disappointed with a set of Raptors

Replaced 8โ€™ Blades with 8โ€™ raptors. Had them on for 3 trips, have only used them at the boat ramp but so far very happy I switched. The raptors are allot more sturdy than the poles, they do not rattle or shake any when towing or running down the lake.

Iโ€™ve had power poles on all my last boats. No complaints. My new Skeeter came with the Raptors. And so far I like them better. Seem tight when up. And when deployed. You donโ€™t move!
Will really put them to the test during the spawn this year. But so far Iโ€™ll say I like them better.

I thought about trying the Raptors but really had no reason the change, if it aint broke don't fix it. I am sure they are a great product.

I have a set I got back in July but I have not been able to use them yet, hunting season got in the way lol. boat is getting some new upgrades right now, hopefully it will be up and going in a couple weeks. However just playing with them they are very quiet, fast and responsive.
