Fish yesterday from railroad tracks up to second island north of 31, 2:00-5:30. There is a big blow down on both channels right and left of the T about 200 yrds north. Biggest was just past the west bend near the rock bank at the trail edge. Could not get past. Someone coming down in a kayak said they caught 15. We never caught any, and didn't see anyone else catch either. Water cold, forgot chainsaw. It will take one to get anywhere near the powerline. Need more rain and warmer temps. Still a few weeks out from start. Enjoy!

Good Fishing!

I have not fished up there in ages, but use to a lot. I found a chartruse roadrunner with hot pink head was all you needed. But you need a lot of them smile

You will know when the white bass are on the move , Walmart and Academy will be out of road runners.

Went today caught 3 from 7-9 am. Buddy went on last wednesday limited out 7-9 am. Saw lots of guys catching them right when i got there. Seemed to be mostly a early bite about 630-8. after that it was dead.

The last time I was on the Neches there was a blow down just north of the Hwy 31 bridges that had the river blocked. Does anybody know if that has been cleared? Thanks.

I stopped by Neches yesterday around noon. I did not stay long as I forgot mud boots and pasture was flooded. Fished 15 minutes north side of 31 bridge without a bite. No one caught anything when I was there.
