Grappa tried to kill me on a trip to Germany one year. Wow.

That would be a nice change. I haven't really been able to taste anything for a month.

Beef liver. Coors beer when I was 5. Couscous. All hideous and should be banned from the Earth.

I forgot, my niece's husband made an apple pie one year for Christmas...I LOVE apple pie! It looked beautiful. It tasted what I imagine horse poo would taste like. Took everything I had to keep the first bite in my mouth long enough to turn away from him and spit it on my plate. Then I had to discretely walk to the trash and throw it out. His parents flat out told him how nasty it was when they tried it later that night. roflmao

Wassail is the nastiest stuff I've drank. Gotten a rotten sunflower seed on a few occasions. Doesn't get much worse.

At my wife’s work party years ago, the hostess put a tray of appetizers in my face so I grabbed one and bit into it, it was an olive inside a cheese puff, I was so close to gagging right in front of everyone.

My daughter and I were on a recruiting trip and the head coach of this university was raving about the bruschetta at this particular restaurant. Turns out it was olive paste and blue cheese on toast, again, I almost barfed right there. Had to hide the rest of it under the edge of my plate.

Cap was stuck on a tube of Superglue so I bit down on it to try to twist off the top. Of course I got Superglue in my mouth. It didn't glue my mouth shut, but I can assure you that's a taste you never want to experience.

Spoiled chocolate milk. Got one of the small cartons in a convenience store and did not check the expiration date.

A bad oyster, it was down before I realized it, was able to throw it up a couple minutes later, did not eat raw oysters for awhile, this was 40 years ago.
