Googan has a good soft swimbait as it is. Really not much room for improvement there. He will probably be working with them on a hard swimbait. Their hard baits need to step it up a notch because some of the budget brands are kicking their tails. Hopefully he will have some input there. Do they have a new swimbait that I haven't seen yet or are you talking about the Kietech knock off? If so then yeah...hopefully Zal can help them out with a real soft swimbait. If anyone knows swimbaits its him.

Maybe he’s going to design some salt water baits for them since the only thing he’s one in 10 years was some amateur team redfish tournament that no one has ever heard of. They should leave the freshwater stuff to someone like Wheeler or Connell, you know, people that have actually won a bass tournament!

It will be interesting to see who leads who in this arrangement. Knowing how he fishes, I don't think they make any baits close to what he usually throws. Maybe a jerk bait.. we''ll see.

Good for him - wish him all the best. Not a bad company to partner up with and he can help take them to a new level.
As for the Googan baits plastics - I have some favorites (lunker log and mondo worm) but not a big fan of the Dart so I stick with the SK Caffeine Shad. GS makes a good product and I like the clamshell packaging on the plastics.

I dislike Googan.
Chris makes decisions for his family and I respect that.
I will continue to purchase Megabass products.
I will not purchase Googan products.
I wish Chris a strong 2022 season.
