Went fishing from 8AM until 4PM with my brother-in-law and friend using artificial lures to deadstick and live bait to catch fish. Also utilized a splasher prop to keep fish following under the boat. We targeted them with white flukes on 1oz jig heads using the current to move the lures as we drifted in the boat. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/g3tcZk5/IMG-7278.jpg) We fished mostly in 50-60 feet of water with fish suspended 45ft and below. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/0stWML4/IMG-7152.jpg) Water temperature was 50 degrees in most places and 30 degrees outside. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/FYKw669/IMG-7132.jpg) The wind was real calm (about 2-6 mph most of the day) and made for some cool drone shots. We caught stripers back to back to back all day and it made for some great footage. I threw it together and made a YouTube video and even included a catch and cook. Check it out! We caught over 75 fish before we stopped counting. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/TLXpHvP/IMG-6310.jpg) Needless to say, GREAT way to spend my birthday! ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/TvB876z/9-BA053-A4-A464-4895-85-E2-B0-C9-D5-D3-AA5-C.jpg)

Some big fat ones for sure, I think the biggest was around 10 lbs. Although, that’s nothing compared to what they are catching out there right now. I’m sure an upper teens and 20s fish would be so awesome. What a haul!!! Great report, always like seeing the sceenshots of the sonar. Thanks for sharing Yes sir! Thanks mwfishin. Glad you liked the report. Cheers! Great video, fishing and cooking👍👍 Thanks CHAMPION FISH! I appreciate the feedback. Cool jighead, what jighead is that? Looks like you are using pink garlic dye? Scubaarchery yup, you hit the nail right on the head. I reckon the pink dye is used because the fish can see the subtle difference but it seemed to work well. Have any experience with dying your baits?

Nice.....really want to get up there and fish for some stripers! You should! Now is the time to do so BriannShell. Winter is a great time to because you aren’t burdened by time and you can get out there later in the morning because the sun isn’t beating down on you by noon. You could also check out the dam below the lake if you are searching for striped bass and don’t want to break the bank.
