Service marine and J&J have both done me right. Yes avoid the mobile mechanic unless you need some exercise, cuz he is definitely gonna give you the run around.

Having nearly 40 years experience in servicing most major brands myself, I can say that if i had a problem with an outboard and was physically unable to work on it, Drop Shot would work on it. Trained him myself and trust him completely. Don't get on here often but heard someone mention that Drop Shot was not as Good at Technical stuff as I am. I Trained the boy. He works a lot like me and will replace me eventually. He's as good a Technician as anyone I know. Best I've ever trained by Far. Perry.
when in doubt TRIM IT OUT!

The boys a Service Marine has always taken care of my boat when I need things done. I had my boat in there last week. It needed some service items and was not running right. I thought something major was wrong. I picked up the boat and was told it was only running on 5 cylinders. 1 new spark plug and i was out the door. You will not find more honest and knowledgeable bunch. I trust what Chuck, Perry and Drop Shot tell me when it comes to servicing or repairing my engine.

I don't mean to slight anyone mentioned already but when I had boats with Mercury I know Fred and his people at Diamond Sports were great to work with. More than once they dropped what they were doing to fix an issue and get me back to fishing that same day in some cases.
