 I hit a underwater stump on Sam Rayburn.

Boy I did it good! Been fishing Rayburn all my life and have never had an impact like I did Saturday. I was running a area I run all the time. I have never seen this stump. Hit it just off dead center on the passenger side. The motor is fine but the hull… not so much. I’ll be calling my insurance man tomorrow. Then trying to find out where to take it. I was in Stanley creek. There are a million stumps! I was running a lane I have run for over 8 years and I have never seen it. No telling how many times I missed it by inches. If it would have been a single in the middle of a lane I would have posted it.

No only about 5’ long. Going to Toledo Fiberglass Thursday for an estimate. We will see.

There used to be a billboard crossing the bridge over Toldeo Bend

Toledo Fiberglass is an excellent choice, stand behind their work. If they are too backed up, we have had excellent luck with the Hawthorne brothers at Marine Clean in Nacogdoches. Other than blue printing our drag boat bottoms, they are doing all of our fiberglass work now and we've been pleased.
