I haven't worn tube socks since I was like 8. I wore Nike ankle socks until a couple of months ago. A friend gave me Bombas ankle socks for my birthday and those are great, but now I wear Bombas no show socks for the most part. I do keep 2 pair of the crew socks for when I go camping in cold weather or to the mountains in the winter.

I wear ankle sox or boot socks unless I'm hunting then I got some good ones that are thick and wicking.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Actual "tube socks" are terrible and never fit me correctly when I tried to wear them many years ago. I don't wear any sock that doesn't have a heel included. I feel the same way and actually prefer cushioned heel socks only with boots. The rest of the time it is ankle or no show socks or no socks at all.
