Any opinions on Mercury techs around Fork. Need some maintenance done on 2 stroke pro xs. Who's real good and any I should avoid? Thanks .

Service Marine, Perry is one of the best Merc Mechanic's in the business...
Perry and Drop shot are both great. Service Marine is on 515 right past Brookshires if you don't know the area. I had an issue once with Sartin Marine that they could have resolved easily, but they did not so I would not go back to them even if they were the only ones in the area.

Perry is the best if you ask me that's around fork, don't know If I would let Dropshot do any real technical work but he is very good doing other things on your boat. Nothing against dropshot.
But the best of the best is retired but lives on Fork if you want to hunt him down and that would be " Boudreaux" Robert Anderson.

I had a problem with my 200 efi on the water and called Service Marine. They talked my way thru the repair and we were good to go. We were on the phone at least 30 min. Saved me a tow in and saved our fishing day. Stopped in next day and gave them a tip. I have a trailer at Fork and they will have my business. Very nice people.
