I was wondering in y’all experience if NRXs are more breakable? I have only broken 3 rods in 20 yrs of fishing but 2 of those have been NRXs in the last 6 months? Did I just get some bad luck? Bc if sensitivity are they more fragile? Thoughts?

I have a half dozen NRX's and broke one, it was 100% my fault trying to get a jig unstuck and I managed to jam the tip into a rock. For as light as they are I think they are amazingly strong as well but at the same time they should be handled with care.

Just get Power Tackle and be good forever This!!!! NRX does make good spinning rods. But Power Tackle makes the best overall baitcaster rods in my opinion.

The 2 arent mutually exclusive (sensitivity and fragileness), but you should not be having a breakage issue with the NRX unless there is a care issue or bad luck. The NRX is more likely to break than an E6X, but it should still be a very rare occasion. That said, there are plenty of applications that I would not use an NRX for, ie. moving baits, punching, etc., as there just isnt a need for the additional sensitivity.
What applications are your rods breaking on? And where are you purchasing the rods? I personally would never purchase a high end rod off the shelf (at any shop), because they are always the ones that get toughed the most by non-buyers.

Having managed a high-end brand, and dealt with warranty and breakage issues, all I can say is that very high modulus blanks can be fragile. They display superior sensitivity, lightness, and sometimes power, but can fail if nicked or shocked (boat rails, drop, etc.). I keep all rods in neoprene sleeves, and I am very careful with them. It's the nature of this beast, and a reason why a good brand has warranty/exchange. Many, many times I handled warranty issues and heard "it just broke on a cast!" or "it broke on a 2#!" and later I get the rod and it's scratched and marred, or used for boat flipping, etc.

Shouldn’t a high-end rod be able to handle a boat flip?

Yeah, if I'm paying $350+ on a rod, that summbish better land the fish for me.

Pure Fishing at one point tried to tell me that the higher modulus more sensitive rods were more prone to failure from stress.

Never used NRX. No issues with IMX or GLX. Phenix K2 breaks if you look at it funny.

I've got a rod locker full of NRX rods and so do most of my closer friends. Never have broke one. The first run models did have a reel seat issue but it's been long resolved.

Maybe I just have had some bad luck. I really try to take care of my stuff but fishing on a 10ft pelican boat may be the problem. Rods tend to get banged around more on a small boat with 2 people.
