Tons of telephone calls each day (All from different addresses)

DAMMIT, i'M TOO DARNED OLD TO BE CONSTANTLY TOLD HOW TO LIVE MY LIFE!!!!!!


And yes I constantly block each call

I’m getting 1-2 a day, mostly the car warranty thing, I guess that’s tolerable

I'm getting about 6-10 "scam likely" calls. Problem is, I have to answer each one because many of my clients numbers come in as scam likely calls too.

If I don't recognize the number, straight to the machine. I've told the wife that at some point, I won't answer a damn thing and send it to the machine which will say, "Sorry friends and family but due to unwanted calls we've decided to let all calls go to the machine. If we are here, we will call you right back.

I think they target seniors on the theory that we are more easily fooled. Must be some truth in it…I get scam calls and scam emails almost daily.

I have been answering mine & press whatever to get a live person. I then start ranting in Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese.....some sort of Asian voice. They immediately hang up. I know 1 language....lol

If I don't recognize the # it goes to voice mail. My message on my voicemail instructs whoever is calling leave a message or you're assumed to be a spam caller.

My cell phone gets occasional spam, but nothing like my bus land line. Prolly get 20 a day. I fixed them. Hooked my land line up to the fax machine, and now when they call they get that wonderful sound of a fax machine going off in their ear. All of my customers know to call my cell phone if they want something. But on my cell, if I don't recognize the caller, it does not get answered.

I reject the number if it is not one of my contacts. If it is important someone will leave a voice mail. If they don't leave a voice mail, I BLOCK that number. My "BLOCKED Number" file is Yuge. It does work. I inadvertently blocked a contact's number once and they told me that my phone was going straight to voicemail. hahahahahahaha

I try to keep them on the line as long as possible. Maybe save a sucker from being SCAMMED.
