Jones is the NFL owner poster boy for running the Cowboys like a business with winning games coming in a distant 2nd.

If he REALLY CARED about winning, he would’ve hired a GM years ago.

Do you want to book a monster truck jam, Final Four, WrestleMania, CFP Championship game, Canelo Alvarez vs Floyd Mayweather, then Jerry is your bag man

All he cares about is the balance sheet. It’s all good as as long as the organization is making money. He gives the illusion that he’ll do anything to win and nothing could be further from the truth. The profitability of the team dominates all else. His legacy is the money machine that he’s built the Jones empire into and that he’ll leave to his family.

He is a great leader, hard worker etc, so was General McCarthur, but he could not throw the football either.

You know you just described Andy Dalton to a T??? Andy inherited the job his rookie year when Carson Palmer refused to play here in Cincy... He got the team to the playoffs 5 years in a row only to be a one and done... It took the Bengals a few years to figure that out... Andy was a good leader, great community and family guy, but needed everything perfect (good OL, good Rb, and above average Wr's) for him to play at a level for them to win. Dak is Andy, with a much bigger contract... I feel for the Cowboys fans, you're stuck in NFL purgatory... Dan

I compared Dak to Dalton last year and about got my house burned down lol, I think they are very similar QB's from a results standpoint.

.....and I've heard him say the exact same things himself.
He once called the Cowboys an "entertainment product" and a small part of the Jones Empire. He left no doubts about his vision and dedication...........to the dollar.

But come back here next September and the Superbowl Train will be rolling with the same occupants that decry the owner's faulty stewardship this week.

Gotta admire those Cowboys Sunshine Pumpers. 2022 is the year!

BCBassCat thinks the Cowboys should trade Dak for Gardner Minshew…can you believe that?

“The situation in Houston is actually worse”

I read somewhere that since 1996 Houston had won more playoffs than the Cowboys. Not sure that’s true.

It’s true. The Texans have won four in the last ten. Cowboys have won three in the last 25.

everyone is beating on the offense.
What about all the 3rd down conversions that the defense allowed?

yes you have to score to win, but you also have to keep the other team from scoring more than you.....

Offense didn't win the game. But defense lost the game first.

Actually the defense played 2/3's of the game very well, they gave up 24 points, this offense was preaching 40 burger all year, they actually averaged way over 30 points a game at home. Take a look at how many passing and rushing yards San Fran had, it was not all that great, the problem was the Cowboys ineffective offense.

Well lets see who wins the SB this year, i bet it is some team with a B A QB and offense. But I do like the idea of having a smash mouth defense and a very efficient offense.

Cowboys have super bowl caliber roster, not super bowl caliber head coach. They thought they had one, but he is not.

McCarthy coached in Green Bay for 10 years or so with one of the top QB’s of all times and managed one Super Bowl. ,I just don’t see him doing even that well in Dallas with Dak at QB. I believe McCarthy is at least one step above his ability. Time to admit they made a mistake.

Wait till the seats are half full with attendees wearing brown paper sacks over their heads like the old Saints games. Once it hits his pocket book he may take notice.

well lets look at that
AFC will probably be either Mahomes,Burrows, or Josh Allen

NFC will be most likely be either Rodgers, Brady, or Stafford
I will take anyone of those 6 over Dak, they are all proven NFL quarterbacks.
