Salary cap is fine honestly....it's a non-issue.....I would have fired Mike already....like before he even got to the locker room....I would tell the team it's my fault....y'all believe you're special because you are Cowboys....it all changes now

Moore may be able to get the most out of Dakota so I think I would just hire him, see if Quinn will stay for ridiculous money and be an enforcer, make all the assistants enforcers....make team leaders enforcers.....culture change is all that can fix it.

They restructured Zekes deal at the beginning of the year. His cap hit next year is like $10M higher than this year. They have major, major cap issues moving forward and no way to revamp the o-line. And unless they fire McCarthy and Jerry dies off then none of it matters anyway.

What difference does it make? You play who they say you play...Brady played a cream puff division schedule for 18 years....didn't seem to bother him

And then he won seven Super Bowls. The Cowboys can only win a playoff game once every eight years.

It's mainly a quarterback league. Look at who is left

Mahomes
Rodgers
Allen
Burrow
Brady

Murray or Stafford will advance.

Garoppolo isn't great, but he has already reached one Super Bowl.

Taneyhill is the weakest among the remaining teams.

Jerry miscalculated five years ago when he announced that Dak was his QB of the future, then he gave him a contract that cemented things. If he wants to win the NFC East that might be good enough.

What are you even talking about? They restructured his deal and ended up with more cap room this year and next. Daks deal is team friendly the first couple of years. 2022 salary cap is going up quite a bit.

I don’t think Moore is answer at HC at all! This team still needs as it has since Jimmy Johnson was fired and that’s a no bs, hold all accountable HC that demands more from a team!! These good guy, player friendly coaches like clapper and McCarthey are just prolonging the undisciplined we did our best and refs are against us culture this team has now!

Txmasterpro - see above link. I was wrong. Wasn’t $10M. It was $16.5M

I already pointed out Zeke is here for 2 more seasons no matter what due to his contract.......they can make 60 to 70 million in cap space if they want.....I know the roster is going to look different but they are far from being in cap hell

The cap is going up next year. Probably quite a bit based on new TV contracts coming up. It’s going to be a bidding war and everyone is going to benefit…especially the owners.

I'm sorry, but anyone playing QB in the NFL has enough talent to possess a glimpse of greatness, and that's exactly what Dak has done on occasion. He's a salesman, not an elite QB. He's got everything that he's ever wanted from the Cowboys.
I can't see another person being a better team leader on any one of the 32 NFL teams, either. Dak and his agent has sold that to mgmt and it will be a win-lose scenario now for lots of years to come, period. Poor Jerruh......one huge decision that has cost him while he finishes out as owner of the Dallas Cowboys. Jerruh won't live forever. Dak ain't dak good and it ain't ever gonna change.
