It’s actually Daniels. Not Daniel. Sort of like the “experts” that spell Ivie like Ivey.

so one person gets triggered cuz I use the plural form....the other gets triggered cuz I dont use the plural form. Amazing how easily offended some are.

The original comment was pretty misleading. Intentionally or misused plural form, you decide. But I thiught this site was about fishing. None of my business except having to scroll through the nonsense.

How often are posts fact checked on this internet forum? Seems like I get the trump treatment from some overly sensitive people every time I post anything and all of a sudden i gotta be 100% accurate even when it comes to my grammar. Im here to talk fishing and its what I post every single time....but some people like to b---h and Im a magnet for their b------g because I call them out for being the envious hypocrites they are. I said the Locals...and yes it was 1 comment....and it was also 1 comment that I mentioned. MY bad I used the plural form of locals when posting on an internet forum....i didnt know we were writing scholoary articles that were being peer reviewed. I literally had no idea that every post in here was 100% accurate even down to grammar 🤷‍♂️

and can I ask.....what harm came from me using the plural form of the word local? Who did I hurt? Did the economy of that city suffer? Do the local residents around the surrounding lake feel slighted? Did the angler that caught the trophy fish feel insulted? Are any of you local to that lake and surrounding area and feel slighted by my comment?

For how many posts this took up, and how serious this matter seems to be with some. Can you all please open my eyes, so I can learn from my mistakes? What negative has come from my post on the texasfishingforum?

There are a lot of guys on this post that need to get a life…

This fish must be a foot wide. This goes to show you that camera angle is everything! If this guy would have asked the tff how much this fish weighed if he didn’t have a scale, I am guessing most people would say 8-9. Nice fish!!!!

Having been an actual local to that lake for 27 years( although not now) and can find the lake in the dark 😂, I will say that is typical of the bass out there, shaped like a football and mean as all get out! In all seriousness I do hope the lake doesn’t get overrun and ruined. Great catch of a lifetime!

how big is the lake?

looks small on google maps. What kinda forage you all got out there to let a bass with a frame like that get to 13 and a half pound size?!

In acres, I think around 600-800 maybe, but there’s a lot of dead water. Lake went dry nearly in the bad drought years then filled up and TPWD restocked. Like all the other lakes around, shad and crawfish.

Went and looked at the TP&W lake records for this fish and it shows to be 24" long. Just barely legal on Fork.
Congratulations to the angler on a heck of a fish.
