And don't worry, I have the same fears of slipping and impaling myself or having the water suddenly rise and wash me away when they open the gates...I just ignore them and do it anyway...

Which I guess makes you the smarter man!

But, in my defense, I DID catch some damn fine fish further downstream hehe.

I spent pretty much the whole day having fun with those spotted gar. In fact I saw a white go for my bait and moved it so he wouldn't connect. Too much fun those gar.
