Had Scott and his buddy Deshawn from Northern Arkansas for the first time on Lake Palestine.
I’m not one for talking up or sugarcoating a post to get a trip, but in all my 15 years of crappie fishing Palestine in the winter I haven’t seen it this good. Fish are biting and fat as well as healthy. But like I tell all my clients, to be a successful day its all going to depend on the wind. I need to fish where I want to , not where I have to.
I believe this is take a preacher fishing week, because I have had them all week. These guys where excited to get the day started. We had another date booked but we canceled it because of the weather. When people drive along way to fish I want the weather to be good.
Another blessed day on the water with great fellowship about God and all he as done with us all. We shared different stories and things that as happened in our life’s, and how God made a way for each one of us. I tell you it was just a blessing being around these guys. I’m still amazed at the people that God sends my way.
These guys had a blast and I could see it in there smile all morning. They where very impressed with the size of crappie that came in the boat. As well as the way we was catching the, and the Technology to do it.
Thank you guys for sharing the boat with me, already looking forward to next time. God bless
Fish caught on submerged timber in 25 to 35 foot of water. With most fish suspended at 16 to 24 foot deep.
Fish caught on my hand tied jigs in Black and chartreuse and a new color I call gold dust.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
Great are you Lord!!
