We finally got that “little cold” at my house… both of us are vaxed. Wife’s fever spiked to 104 last night, ER turned us away because her blood ox was 92 and temp had dropped to 102.4. They said to come back if blood ox is consistently under 90 for several hours or if high fever persists for an extended amount of time. Staying on top of Tylenol every 4 hours we’re able to keep her right at 100, blood ox hanging between 89 and 93.
So far other than loosing smell and taste, sinus insanity, someone sitting on my chest, and feeling like I’ve been run over by a truck it’s been manageable for me… but it’s early in the game and I’m damn sure not declaring victory yet. Alternate Advil in there between the Tylenol. Max dose of acetaminophen is 4000mg per 24 hours. Deep breathing exercises for the O2 sats. Thank you sir!!

My son tested positive yesterday. He's 14. My wife took him to the ER today because his oxygen levels dropped. He said his chest felt like it was caving in. Fortunately, his lungs are clear. So tonight we are watching and hoping. If his oxygen level drops to 92, his doctor said to take him to the hospital, which is in Corpus. He's at 96 now. We are picking up therapuetics now as per doc recommendation.

I fear Alvarado will shut it down soon and Joshua and the rest of them will be soon to follow . Kids will be right back in the same boat as 2020 in and out of school or they’ll just call it for the rest of the year and we’ll pick back up in august ( just a theory tho at the moment)

Delta hasn't vanished, there's no way for you to know, but perhaps you were unlucky and got that strain. Those are definitely low O2 levels for otherwise healthy adults. You are wise to be keeping such a close eye on it. Hope ya'll recover quickly.

I miss the days when men just took ibuprofen, dayquil, expectorant and went to work like a zombie. I sure miss those tough guys. No test,no sex,no beer just pills, work, sleep rinse and repeat until all was gone. Sometimes it lasted 2 months here during January and February.

When illegal Mexicans start calling in saying they need to go get tested, the world must be getting ready to blow up. We are out 4 of em today. Is traders village open on Thursday? Might need to plan a sting operation.

I think I need to carry one of those Epi pens or adrenaline shot needle things. Just in case these sneezes get closer in frequency.
